Founded in 1975, Brander Vineyard is one of Los Olivos’ earliest estate vineyards, informed by generations of agricultural heritage from Sweden and Argentina.
Our 50 acre estate vineyard in Los Olivos have shaped our wines from the beginning, grounding every vintage in a sense of place, history, and thoughtful farming. Construction of the Brander Chateau followed the early estate plantings in the 1980`s.
Proprietor Fred Brander led winemaking at the estate for decades before passing the torch to winemaker Fabian Bravo, now in his 18th harvest with us. Today, the estate continues under the stewardship of the 3rd generation, with Nik Brander carrying the family’s estate forward.
