SITE FEE
“Site Fee” refers to the public areas of Brander Vineyard only. The use of the facility is limited in accordance with these terms.
Event hours: TBD.
3 HOUR SITE FEE
The facility fee is for an event lasting up to 3 hours in the main courtyard and front terrace plus one (1) hour for clean-up.
$2500.00 Site Fee
DAY SITE FEE
The facility fee is for an event lasting up to 5 hours plus one (1) hour for clean-up.
$5000 per day Site Fee
A Four case or $500 minimum of Brander wine must be purchased for events, a % discount to be determined by Brander management.
SERVICE CHARGE
A standard 18% service charge will be applied to total beverage and services.
BRANDER VINEYARD DINNER
Our Tasting Room can seat up to twenty guests for a Wine Country dinner. We also have the space to seat up to thirty guests in our Barrel room or courtyard. The rental fee is $1500 and this does not include linens, china, flatware, and chairs. Your favorite Brander wines will be paired with each course and a menu will be created by you and your caterer. There will be a tasting fee per person or a case minimum that will include all wines poured during the event. You will also have the opportunity to purchase wines at a 20% discount at the end of your event. All fees related to the caterer will need to be paid to them directly.
DEPOSIT
A deposit of 50% of the site fee is required to secure your reservation. All final fees are due to Brander before the event. Deposits will be applied towards the final bill. Any cancellations must be received 60 days prior to your event or you will be charged the full site fee.
A credit card authorization is to remain on file to finalize any remaining billing issues and/ or damages from the event or event attendees.
EQUIPMENT RENTALS AND
SUPPLIES
The Brander Vineyard has 8 picnic tables and 5 round black iron tables with umbrellas for your event. If Brander Vineyard must remove the tables we provide there will be $400 fee. It is the responsibility of the host to make arrangements for all rentals such as tables, chairs, plates, flatware, linen, and heaters from our approved vendor list (exceptions to be made on a case by case basis.
Rentals may be delivered on the day or day before the event and must be removed from the facility no later than the following business day. You are solely responsible for all rentals, rental damage, and loss breakage. All rental agreements and payments are between you and the rental company.
CATERING AND VENDORS
The Brander Vineyard will provide a list of approved caterers and vendors which is included in this packet. Deposits and fees are paid directly to the caterer. The caterer is responsible for overseeing the event set-up, food service, and breakdown of all rentals and should be scheduled by the client.
WINE/BEER/BEVERAGES
Brander wines are served exclusively. Caterers with appropriate licensing may provide beer for your guests. All licensing must be approved by Brander Vineyard prior to the event. Caterer and or/client are responsible for providing all non-alcoholic beverages, beer, and sparkling wine, which will be poured by the caterer. Brander staff will pour Brander Vineyard wine.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE POLICY
Only Brander Vineyard wines may be served at the winery. All wine open during the events will be billed at full bottle retail, except as otherwise agreed.
FLOWERS AND DECORATIONS
Flowers or any other decorations must be provided by our approved vendors (unless otherwise agreed) and are the responsibility of the host. Flowers must be delivered the day of the event and must be removed at the end of the event. Brander Vineyard will not assume responsibility for the damage to or the loss of, any merchandise left prior to or following the event.
INSURANCE
Client agrees to obtain a one-day Special events policy naming Brander Vineyard as an additional insured. Written proof of said coverage shall be furnished to Brander Vineyard thirty days prior to the event. The policy shall have a minimum liability coverage of $1,000,000.
WEATHER
The renting party shall be aware that the Brander venue is in a rural environment necessarily impacted by the weather and natural forces. Brander shall not be held liable for any impact
due to weather or other natural causes on the quality or feasibility of the event. In the event of inclement weather Brander will attempt to reasonably accommodate for any changes, however Brander does not make any guarantees regarding the content or success of such accommodation.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
Client is 100% responsible for their actions and the actions of their guests. We have a ZERO tolerance policy toward misconduct and / or minors consuming alcohol. If any Brander Vineyard representative feels event attendees are jeopardizing their safety, the property, or the safety of others and / or participating in illegal activities, the event will be shut down and all fees shall be retained by Brander Vineyard.
MUSIC
Music may be played during the event, provided that reasonable volume levels are not exceeded, and must cease by 9:30pm. All live music must be preapproved by Brander.
WEDDING COORDINATOR
For wedding ceremony and receptions held on property, Brander Vineyard requires our clients to have a
coordinator. We require them to provide final timelines 30 days in advance as well as a
list of all vendors as selected from our approved vendors list (unless otherwise agreed). Coordinator services are not included in the site fee, but are required for weddings
held on the property. Coordinators are not necessary for rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions only.
STAFFING
Proper staffing for food service should be contracted through the caterer. Brander Vineyard requires a minimum of three staff members to be present at all times during special events and staff will depend on the size of the guest count. Brander staff are billed at $35/ per hour per staff member. The staff is required to be on property from the time of set up until your last vendor leaves. This will be added to the bill the day of the event and an 8% sales tax applied to wine purchased and services rendered.
CANCELLATION
In the event client wishes to cancel this agreement, Brander Vineyard will refund 50% of deposit if the date can be rebooked. No refunds will be given if the date is not rebooked.
