Barbara Mission
Laguna and Los Olivos Streets, Santa Barbara
Called the Queen of Missions for its graceful beauty.
From the perspective of the Mission you get a true
look at the evolution of Santa Barbara. You can see
how it has changed from a Chumash land to a Spanish
land and finally to an American state. It has seen
earthquakes that caused it to be rebuilt and illustrates
the changing lifestyles of the people it served.
Daily 9am-5pm.
